Hello, we're ground four.
Journeyman Electrician, Owner
Ever since I was young I have enjoyed using my hands, creating something out of nothing. I could always be found working on a building project of some sort, so it was natural that I found my career path in the trades, with my main focus on electrical. After completing my Journeyman Certificate at SAIT in Calgary, Alberta and working in the industry for 11 years on everything from retail shops to agriculture buildings, I took my experience and started a company of my own. Since the beginning of Ground Four in 2017, I have found a passion for project management and working with various clients. The best part of my job is to see the satisfaction and approval from clients after a detailed project has been executed. When I'm not working I can be found hiking through the Foothills and Rocky Mountains of Alberta or mastering the art of fly fishing.
I have been involved in the renovation business for 12 years although my love for woodworking started long before that in junior high school during my first shop class. For more than a decade, I have worked on a wide variety of projects ranging from custom cabinetry, additions, and deck building. One of my favourite completed projects has to be my very own custom-built basement suite. By paying close attention to the overall design of the space, and carefully planning out every aspect, I was able to make every room both functional and beautiful. When I’m not working I can be found spending time at the dog park with my dog. On the weekends I like to get out to the mountains on my dirt bike or just to enjoy some camping.
